//about

I am first and foremost a designer with over ten years of experience in web and print design. Though I have worn many hats over the years, Production Artist, Web Designer, Art Director, Production Designer and Creative Director, my passion has always been based in design. I love the entire creative process from start to finish. The creative and technological sides of design fascinate me. I enjoy discovering creative inspiration through life experiences wherever I may find it. I like staying abreast of current design trends, by engaging the latest hot book, reading a memoir of a master, scouring the web, flipping through current periodicals and generally just looking at what others are doing in the industry. There are several different aspects in life that make me who I am. One core attribute I have is my constant need to learn new things. Staying on top of the latest design software, design processes, and web technologies is extremely important to me. I feel that there is no time wasted in life, if you can learn something new in the process. I am quick and efficient and typically get jobs done on time and under budget. I can be a one man show if that's what the job calls for, but I also enjoy collaborating with fellow teammates.

Design is only one aspect in my life. I also have many hobbies and interests. Growing up in Saint Louis, Missouri there were always great things to do, like catching a Cardinal’s game, cheering on the football Cardinals and later the Rams or going to watch the Blues play hockey. After attending the University of Missouri-Columbia for a year and half, I became a true Mizzou Tiger at heart. Growing up around my Dad, I inherited a true passion for cars. The performance, style and heritage of automobiles was a constant subject at the Biermann house. Needless to say, I grew up with a need for speed. Although you wouldn't know that right now! I'm currently driving a Honda Element that will never break any speed records. I have to admit it is a great utility car. I am however able to get my speed fix through cycling. Road or mountain bike, it doesn’t really matter. It brings back memories of growing up with two brothers.
